Opposites.

I find it very amusing that I created this blog to complain on, yet most everything has been great lately. Funny how life works out.

Wednesday at school was AMAZING!!! The power went out third period. The rumor (started by a math teacher) was that in 5 more minutes, we would have gone home. The buses were coming, but we would have had to wait a lot longer before we could leave. Oh, and we had an epic volleyball battle for third place. My team won! It was SO cool.

Thursday...mostly uneventful. Volunteering and babysitting. Babysitting was great, until bed time... No one would go to sleep!

Friday (today) was awesome. School was fine. We had an asembly about African American Heritage. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz. No offense to African Americans, but the assembly insulted a bunch of other people as well. It ignored/insulted a bunch of other races, like a bunch of my Indian friends. It also irritated me, because I hate being grouped into "white". So many countries are deemed "white", and thats usually what people identify with. I say "I'm mostly German and Polish" (I realize that my heritage seems kind of ironic), not "I'm white". But whatever, I don't feel like typing more, Math was hilarious, as per usual. Its amazing how many people actually carry their unit circle plates in their pockets. Wow. P.E. was bizarre. Two cockroaches were srawling around the girls locker room, so we were all flipping out and balancing on the benches until a security guard came and killed them. The security then followed our class to torture all the girls about being freaked out. As we went up to the upper gym, the boys were trying to squirt each other with the hand sanitizer at the top of the stairs. One of them actually got hit, and the security guard saw it and started freaking out : "That is disgusting! How dare you spit on each other?!". She didn't hear the rest of us trying not to laugh at the top of the stairs. Later, a girl blacked out during the pushup test.

Tonight wa the best part of today though. 3 friends and I watched old Disney movies. We watched the Little Mermaid, because my one friend had never seen it before which is CRAZY. We were going to watch Cinderella and Snow Whit a well, but a) we didn't have enough time and b) I couldn't figure out how to hook up the VCR (they were VHS!). Oh, the good old days...
